Below are various tags that a writer might use to indicate genre and more.

Original writing is the entire creation of the writer. They do not contain any elements from other writing. All characters and plots are 100 percent original.

General Tags

Creatures of the night rule this genre. Vampires, werewolves, witches, demons, etc., roam the night. The main element is that the characters are more than they appear.

Beginning in the 80s, The Quigley Chronicles follows Corey Quigley in his adventures of being a young vampire. Along the way, he experiences love, loss, hurt, and more.

One or more of the characters is bisexual, meaning they are attracted to their gender and another.

Gender and Sexuality

One or more of the characters is gay, meaning they are two men attracted to each other.

A character in the story is intersex. That means they have sex characteristics of both male and female.

One or more of the characters is a lesbian, meaning they are women attracted to each other.

A character in the story identifies with being pansexual, or being attracted to all genders or regardless of gender.

Someone in this story is transgender, meaning they do not identify with the gender they were assigned at birth.

This story has straight characters, where they are attracted to a gender different than their own.

This is a single book. There are no continuations, and it is completely independent of any other books. The story is complete.

Other Tags

These books are in a series. You need to read them in order, and they cannot be read independently of each other. A series could contain any number of books.

This book is in the process of being written. It will either be posted a chapter at a time or when completed.

The story is complete and being edited. The story may have been posted but needs further editing to make it shine.

This story is complete without further changes needed. It will be posted or published in its entirety.
